Menton Inspiration – Summer 2020

Rightly known as the Pearl of France, the town of Menton stands on the tip of the French Riviera, not far from the Italian border.

A garden town, Menton is covered with magnificent Mediterranean plant life thriving all over its territory. All kinds of virtually tropical species flourish in the town, especially lemon, the ultimate symbol of Menton. This citrus fruit is celebrated each year in Menton between February and March, love this season.

Ментон – один из наиболее примечательных городов Лазурного берега. Для меня это город лимонов 🍋

После открытия в ноябре 2011 года Музея Жана Кокто, очень люблю его, Ментон стали называть городом Кокто. Здесь происходит много интересных событий международного масштаба.

Обязательно посетите здесь Лимонный сад, он насчитывает 450 деревьев – все они относятся к виду «ментонского лимона», наиболее престижному из 80 известных видов. Этот сад вошел в 2009 году в перечень уникальных садов.

И конечно самое знаковое февраль-март Фестиваль Лимонов, когда весь город в гигантских фигурах из натуральных лимонов, многие наверно уже видели это в моих сторис.
